The current Hoosier Village Health Center was completed in 1996. The innovative design and quality construction of the new building mirror the high standards of the care and service provided by the dedicated staff of the Health Center. The center has numerous private rooms. The unique design of the semi-private rooms also assures that each resident can have maximum privacy and a window of his or her own.

The Health Center is Medicare certified and licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health for comprehensive and skilled nursing care -- thus allowing Hoosier Village to offer a full continuum of care. The center's rehabilitation department offers a full range of physical, speech, and occupational therapies, which are available to all residents of Hoosier Village, as well as those in the surrounding area.
While our
health care professionals are attentive to the physical needs of the residents
of the health center, they are equally concerned with providing spiritual and
emotional support, as well as appropriate social and recreational opportunities
for each resident.
We also understand the importance of the involvement of the residents' families and have tried to provide an environment which supports family participation.
